Our Mission:
To educate, engage, and inspire through immersive, research-driven experiences connecting the agricultural and domestic skills of Southeastern Pennsylvania Revolutionary Era farm life to the rapidly changing world of colonial America.

The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission provides general operating support through their Cultural and Museum Grant program to support CPF's educational and volunteer programs. CPF has also been awarded a PHMC Historic Preservation Construction grant for restoration of windows and doors in our farmhouse.
The Kirk Plumsock Trust at Willistown Friends Meeting is providing funding to support research and new interpretation about slavery in 18th century at Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead and the surrounding area.

Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead has received funding in 2025 through Americana Corner's Preserving America Grant Program. This funding supports CPF's marketing efforts and improved visitor experience.

Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstea's project, “Expanding the Narrative through Community Collaboration: Interpreting Enslavement at an 18th-Century Quaker Farm,” was selected for a $25,000 award through the National Endowment for the Humanities' Public Impact Projects at Smaller Organizations initiative, with a projected start date of March 1, 2025.
Although we are honored to have received this recognition, we regret to share that the grant has since been terminated.
We remain fully committed to the goals of this vital interpretive project and are actively pursuing alternative funding to ensure its continuation. We invite you to read the press release and learn more about our efforts.
